Waiting on Windows

This morning I was reflecting on the time of year that represents my departure from the military, and I had a thought about creating another blog with stories of my Navy days - complete with pictures. This would be a step toward my book that I'm going to publish one day about some of my Corps of Cadets buddies titled "The Boots We Wore". Now the book needs some time still for its Cast of Characters to grow up a little more and allow for more accomplishments to develop, but some of the greatest accomplishments have already occurred in their lives - especially for those who served in the Armed Forces.
So, this morning I had my thought about working on another blog for you all, then I had to wait for Windows to fire up on my computer which took a gruelling 15 minutes before I could get to our website to login... So, if I do too much more of this, "Dude, I'm ditching the Dell" and going to a Macintosh (Mac).
The new blog would be for all of our readers, but a lot would be for me just to document some of the stories before I forget some of the names and faces. I think it would be enlightening for some to see what role the Navy played in the War on Terror.
Alas, it's time for me to head off to my windowless office to start my workday.
