Officially: On the Move

Brooklyn has been trying to pull-up and stand for a few months now, but never had much interest in crawling until the past few weeks. Last Saturday after a week of wobbling on all-fours, she decided to trek out across the floor. Her first journey was only a few feet, then she would sit back, take a breather, and start out again.
Over the past week, Brooklyn has increasingly became more brave, and has decided that pulling up to a standing position is her next big move. Brooklyn has also decided that she likes the tortillas at "Teds" - one of our local mexican restaurants.
Every week is bringing a new milestone, so it will be interesting to see what Brooklyn picks up this week.

On other fronts, the weather is beginning to warm and our yard is beginning to green. The azaleas came out early this spring and we look forward to their flowers again later this spring. Also, Holly and I recently added a few roses to our landscaping, so we are anxious to see if those plants survive :)
