Maryland Crabs!

This weekend we had the opportunity to travel to Annapolis, MD for a wedding of one of the ushers at our wedding, Ian. Ian & Stephanie were wed Saturday afternoon at the US Naval Academy Chapel. Following the ceremony, we attended the reception at the Downtown Annapolis Waterfront Marriott. We had the chance to visit with my Captain from USS Bulkeley and one of the other Junior Officers whom I served with through our deployment. The bride's dress was beautiful and the groom wore his "Choker" Whites. The weather was cool, but sunny.
While we were there we had a chance to go to Cantlers Crab House - (http://www.cantlers.com/). We both had seafood at the restaurant and we both spilled our tea - you'd have thought we were a couple of kids by the mess we had on the table! Cantlers is obviously known for their crabs, so I had the fried softshell crabs. Holly tried the softshell crab, but it was not to her liking... something about eating the entire crab, legs and all!
It was a whirlwind trip and we forgot our camera, so we don't have any great pictures of the weekend...
Also, we had dinner next to the New England Patriot's own Wes Welker at the Dallas Love Airport before our plane took off.
