8-Months and Counting

We have passed the 8-month mark and things are going very well. We have a very happy and energetic little girl. She has her 2 bottom teeth (one of which you can spot in the photo on the left), and randomly pronounces a "daddy" or "momma". She is eating well and likes to nibble on the things we happen to be having for meals.
Brooklyn was trying to pull up on so many things that she did not have any desire to try to crawl. So, we've changed our strategy and over the last 2-3 weeks we have been focusing on crawling and have made great progress. This little girl is going from the sitting position to all-fours now.
The weather is slowly improving, and we have been able to spend a couple of wonderful days outside with Brooklyn. This past weekend has been very rainy. So, by the time we get outdoors next, it will be very green and lush. That probably won't prevent little Brooklyn from finding some of that good, red Oklahoma dirt though!
